https://www.istudy-china.com/      First answer on Quora. Well,it depends on the major you are in, the lifestyle you lead. Hong Kong, a really international city. Many large companies and famous university are at Hong Kong. If you major in finance, business,it's really the best chioce. Like Hong Kong,Shanghai is also a international city with high level of technology and economics. There's no problem for foreigner in both Shanghai and Hong Kong for people there all speak fluent English. In Shanghai, you will have easy access to high-tech,Chinese culture and entertainments. The life pace is quite fast. Beijing,as a southerner,I don't see the advantage to study in Beijing over Shanghai.Beijing has been long considered the capital of China, politic center. Yes, it do has many universities and two best in China mainland. But it might not be a good choice for international students to study in and fit in. But you can enjoy Chinese culture fully.   https://www.istudy-china.com/  Hello! I am Clara and I have indeed studied in China. I was an exchange student in Ningbo on University of Nottingham Ningbo and it was an amazing experience. I will share some of my thoughts below so hopefully I can encourage other students to choose China as its next destiny My experience in China was very nice due to the different things. The first one being the University. I believe that if you want to do an exchange course in China, you should get well informed on your host school. In my case, I could have not choosen better. Nottingham took care of us always, providing Introduction groups on the first weeks to instruct us in how life worked inside the campus and outside. It also organized many activities and trips, encouraging students to travel and also meet other students. If there was any problem, my university took care of it. Even when I came back to Spain and had to do classes online, they still emailed regularly and asked about our...

https://www.istudy-china.com/     The opening of China to Western students allowed me and many others to Study with Chinese students in China and establish life long relationships while learning how policy is implemented at the ground level. Chinese culture is a very fraught area. Under the communist party we saw an attack on Chinese traditional culture not seen perhaps since the Qin dynasty. Now Chinese people are very Westernized while practicing some elements of Chinese culture. Without living and working in China it would be difficult to have any insight into this important area which will guide China’s role in the future as a superpower. The second area is policy implementation. Looking at China’s media outlets we see a tsunami of rhetoric and policy announcements. But how these are implemented at the ground level is a very important understanding. China is being run by people who are the children of old CCP leaders. To some extent they honor the Marxist-Leninist i...

https://www.istudy-china.com/      It's fun, it's boring, it's super hot, it's cheap, it's expensive. It's like a complete package, not so developed as a developed country nor a third world country. So, overall it is okay. Lessons i have learned so far Never ever, never ever buy anything in sale/promotion, as it would be already super expensive or poor quality. Never trust a shop keeper price, check at least few websites and decide. I have learnt that it is actually cheaper to directly buy from china than buying from local shops. Since it is a tourist country, so get ready to be treated as walking ATM. Never argue with an Indian taxi driver, ever! Chinese or malay, yes you can little bit but not with indian cabbies. And i am not being racist but it is common knowledge here. Or feel free to take risk. Never sigb up for contract Internet, they will suck you dry with their stupid and insane policies, best is to use contract free, prepaid services for mobile and I...
